Marklund Day School
Marklund is built on our mission of making everyday life possible for individuals with profound disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our diverse team in Elgin and be a part of our life-changing mission. The hours of this position are 8 AM - 4 PM, Monday through Friday. It's about belonging to a community that believes in the wholeness of each person, and works together to create happy, safe and purpose-filled lives for those individuals that we serve.

The therapeutic, sensory-driven Multi-Needs Program serves individuals ages 3 through 21 with medical, developmental, and physical disabilities. Through the Life Skills Program, teachers and paraprofessionals provide individualized functional curriculum and supports for students who are diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum, specific learning disabilities, and developmental disabilities.
Conduct Functional Analysis Assessment and Functional Behavior Assessments
Create appropriate data collection systems to track student progress
Report quarterly on behavior goals and data included in a student's IEP
Provide ongoing coaching and training within and outside of the classroom

Registered Behavior Tech, Registered Behavior Technician, Behavior Tech, Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field required
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification with a supervisory endorsement required
Experience working with students with multiple needs and autism required
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements
