Registered Nurse Full Time Med/Surg Department - Grand River Health | Rifle, CO
The Registered Nurse (RN) works as a contributing member of the Med/Surg Department at our main hospital campus. They will provide professional nursing care, treatment, counseling, and health education to assigned inpatients. The RN works as a part of a health care team and plans in conjunction with physicians and other care team members.
Monitors vital signs and administers medications, including intravenous medications, with input from the care team.
Supports patients with bandage care, pain management, and ensuring they rest, drink fluids, and eat properly.
Tracks patient progress, updates medical records, and communicates with doctors as needed.
Helps maintain health and prevents illnesses, injuries, and disabilities.
Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado required.
Prefer one year of professional nursing experience in a patient care setting. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekends
