Human Resources Generalist, Payroll and Recruitment

Recruiting Duties

Develop and maintain long-term working relationships and communications with hiring managers and senior management to understand key business issues that may have a direct impact on current and future staffing needs and to establish requisition-specific staffing strategies in order to ensure that openings are filled according to hiring manager needs and expectations
Facilitate debrief meetings with hiring managers in order to determine which candidates to pursue
Establish strong relationships with candidates to ensure they have a positive recruiting experience
Provide recruitment updates when necessary
Recruit and interview potential applicants
Organizes and manages new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs

HR Duties

~ Covers all legal compliance for human resource federal and state requirements
Process Company payroll with third party payroll provider
Represents employer in the community and recruiting events
M anages committees on wellness, training, health, and safety, culture, and communications
Manages employee compensation plans and drives semi-annual performance reviews

Assists Executive T eam with administrative support

5+ years of recruiting and human resources experience. Experience with recruiting sales positions preferred

• Broad knowledge of sourcing strategies to produce a pipeline of outstanding talent and assessment/screening tools to identify potential candidates
• Experience with applicant tracking systems
• Excellent planning and time-management skills necessary to achieve business goals and increase efficiencies

Able to prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills

Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)and/or HR portal applications such as HR360 , Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record-keeping
Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred (Human Resources, or related field)
