Dispatcher Hourly

At KAG, this role puts you at the center of daily logistics-working closely with customers, drivers, and internal teams to keep freight moving smoothly. You'll serve as a key point of contact, representing KAG with professionalism, strong communication, and a customer-first approach.

This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area.

Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts
Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, dispatchers, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Partner with terminal manager to plan and carry out shipping operations
Image/Scan documents into the dispatch system
Data entry of driver detention pay, calculate hourly pay, layovers, breakdowns
Receive orders from customers and create loads in dispatch system
Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously
High school diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of customer facing dispatching experience; Associate or Bachelor Degree in business, supply chain, logistics, preferred.
Promote positive work habits including effective and timely communication, teamwork and respect for co-workers.
