Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Housekeeper, you'll clean and maintain assigned areas of the hospital in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition to promote a clean and healthy environment for all employees, patients, and guests in accordance with departmental standards.

Every day you will adhere to proper disposal techniques for biohazard materials, including bodily fluids or sharp objects. You will apply specialized cleaning techniques to designated rooms and equipment, replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and tissues, and deliver clean linens to patient rooms.

Success also depends on reliability, attention to detail, flexibility to take on additional tasks, timely reporting of maintenance issues, and a proactive approach to responding to emergencies and supporting a safe, healthy environment for patients and staff.

Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, such as resident units, public lavatories, lounges, and offices.

Clean, sanitize and polish bath, lavatory, showers and sink fixtures and facilities; stock dispensers as necessary.

Dust, wash, sponge mop, sanitize, and hand shampoo furniture, dust desk and floor lamps, clean and polish glass surfaces, woodwork, walls and windowsills.

Scrub bath and shower room tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills.
