Paralegal Full-time Position

Paralegal (Litigation) - Contract-to-Hire
We are partnering with a well‑established litigation law firm in San Diego that is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support a team of attorneys and paralegals in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment. This is a contract‑to‑hire opportunity offering the chance to join a highly collaborative team that values strong organization, accuracy, and high‑quality legal work.

This role will support litigation matters from discovery through trial preparation and will require someone who is comfortable managing multiple responsibilities and working in a structured legal environment with strict deadlines.

Prepare indexes and chronologies of produced documents

Assist with discovery including interrogatories, document requests, subpoenas, and document productions

Prepare materials for depositions and summarize deposition transcripts

Conduct legal and public records research using tools such as Westlaw

Assist with drafting letters, responses to complaints, and settlement agreements

Organize and track documents received from clients and the court

Assist with e‑discovery searches and document uploads

Proofread and format legal documents including tables of contents and authorities

10+ years of Paralegal experience, preferably within a litigation environment

Strong understanding of law firm procedures and court filing requirements

Experience supporting discovery, document production, and trial preparation

Excellent grammar, proofreading, and document formatting skills

Strong research abilities, including experience with Westlaw and online legal research tools

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

Full‑time, Monday-Friday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) with limited overtime as needed.

Hybrid schedule with a minimum of two days per week in the San Diego office (three days during onboarding and training).
