Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU position at an academic medical center in Albany, NY, requiring prior travel experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
Day shift position, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, in a Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit
13‑week contract
Every other weekend required
Rotating holiday coverage required
Epic EMR required
Requirements
Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
All certifications must be from AHA or RQI
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU staff experience required, specifically with trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
Trauma Level 1 experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
US Social Security Number required
Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal and religious declinations will not be accepted
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
Navy blue scrubs required
A competency test must be completed within 24 hours of submission; an up-to-date email address is required
Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
Any time off requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
More than 3 call‑outs in a 13‑week contract period may result in termination; make‑up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call‑out
Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
Pay and Job Details
