Head of Programme Management

Our client, a leading global financial services organization, is seeking an experienced Business Program Manager to support a portfolio of strategic business initiatives within the Retirement Planning Services Portfolio. The ideal candidate brings strong program management experience, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, and facilitate collaboration across business and technology teams.
Location: Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid: 4 Days Onsite | 1 Day Remote)
Identify, track, and help mitigate risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies to ensure initiatives remain on track.
Develop and maintain portfolio reporting, governance materials, presentations, and planning artifacts for leadership review.
Lead stakeholder meetings, planning cadences, and follow-up activities to drive accountability and execution.
Support ongoing portfolio management activities across strategic enterprise initiatives within a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in Program Management, Portfolio Management, PMO, or related project delivery roles.
- Experience managing projects and/or programs within the financial services industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong experience with governance, executive reporting, risk management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.); SharePoint experience preferred.
- PMI or PMP certification preferred.
Ability to influence outcomes and drive business readiness for enterprise technology transformations.
