2nd Shift Welder - Permanent - Full Time Positions Only

Incumbent will safely operate specified tools and welding equipment to produce dimensionally correct parts/products based on written or oral instructions, blueprints, sketches, and work orders.
Help

Manufacture or repair common metal parts assemblies or components of electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, or other equipment, containers, structures, or facilities.
Select proper tools, welding materials, heat range, feed for a variety of metals and thickness to provide proper weldments, penetration, and fusion.
Safely operate various types of welding equipment.
Prepare area to be welded by cleaning, fitting, chipping, grinding, cutting, slag removal, and grinds welds when required.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Welder without more than normal supervision. and welding in hard to reach places may require awkward or cramped positions. Working Conditions: Is exposed to such hazards as elevations, exposed electrical conductors, sharp edges and toxic fumes with possibility of cuts, burns, shock, bruises, fractures, eye injury, electrical shock.
