Description
Assess and evaluate patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and craft personalized treatment strategies
Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
Work closely alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
Educate patients and their families about therapeutic goals, preparation for discharge, and home exercise routines
Document patient evaluations, treatment provided, and progress in adherence to facility and regulatory protocols
Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to assure cohesive care delivery
Education
~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications
State licensure as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification is preferred
Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are a bonus but not mandatory
Skills
Prior relevant experience strongly preferred
Capability to treat patients with complex medical and mobility challenges
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with digital charting and electronic medical record systems
