Description
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and craft personalized treatment strategies
Implement physical therapy techniques that emphasize mobility, strength, balance, and functional capabilities
Work collaboratively alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes
Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and at-home exercise routines
Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress consistent with facility policies
Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to ensure holistic care
Education
~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree recognized by an accredited institution

Certifications
State licensure required as a Physical Therapist
Preferred certification in CPR
Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
