Registered Nurse (Full Time) **Travel or Perm

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - OR Circulator for a hospital operating room requiring at least 2 years of OR experience and AL or compact RN licensure.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital Operating Room department with 5 operating rooms and 2 endo suites,
• Specialties include general surgery, plastics, pain management, ophthalmology, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and vascular procedures,
• Adult and geriatric patient population with 1:1 patient ratios,
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM,
• 13-week assignment length,
• Every other weekend required,
• Late stay call required Monday through Thursday between 3-5 PM, with no scheduled cases after 5 PM daily,
• Floating to PACU may be required but is not guaranteed,
• Uses OR Manager Picis, transitioning to Meditech OR Manager,
• Equipment used includes RFA machine, Sentinel Node, plastics equipment, Vaser Lipo suction, Phaco machine, and Erbe,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (AL or compact) required,
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred,
• Minimum 2 years of OR circulator experience required,
• Associate's degree required,
• Experience with pain injections, eye surgeries, EGD, colonoscopy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, wound debridement, port insertion/removal, breast implant procedures, AV grafts, fistulograms, and tunnel catheters,

Additional Information

• Weekly orientation held every Monday,
• Scrubs are provided by the facility,
• Professional demeanor and appearance expected,
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible,
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months,
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
