Job OverviewThe Manager, SMB Sales role at T-Mobile leads the hiring, training, and development of a high-performing sales team responsible for outside direct sales in a specific geographic area. You'll create and monitor sales plans to drive success against sales goals, ensuring your team of Account Executives excels. NOTE: Though listed as AZ-remote, the candidate for this position will need to reside within the Phoenix, AZ market and be able to travel to the NM market and possible other markets as you will oversee field sales representatives.Increase market share and achieve and exceed performance targets related to subscribers, revenue, and churn.Sales quota: Meet or exceed overall sales quota for your assigned region.Implement key operational initiatives in the field while maintaining high ethical and procedural standards.Sales meetings: Coordinate and run frequent sales meetings.Interview, hire, train, and develop a staff of successful Account Executives; Conduct ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field.Education and Work Experience:Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)4-7 years Verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience within a commissioned environment (Preferred)2 Years People management responsibilities (Preferred)2 Years Telecommunications/technical sales (Preferred)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Coaching Strong coaching skills with ability to conduct difficult conversations..i.e. change management. To find the pay range for this role based on hiring location, T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
