This role focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations while promoting health education, disease prevention, and community wellness.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAdminister vaccines in accordance with public health guidelines and protocolsConduct patient assessments, screenings, and medical history reviewsProvide education regarding immunizations, sexual health, STI prevention, and disease managementAssist with STI testing, treatment, counseling, and follow-up careMaintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical recordsEnsure compliance with infection control procedures and safety standardsSupport clinic operations and patient flow in a fast-paced public health settingCollaborate with healthcare providers, case managers, and community partners to ensure accessible and culturally responsive carePromote a welcoming, respectful, and confidential environment for all patientsQualificationsActive Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standingPrevious experience in public health, immunizations, women's health, family planning, or sexual wellness preferredKnowledge of vaccine administration and STI testing/treatment practicesStrong communication and patient education skillsAbility to work effectively with diverse populations and maintain confidentialityProficient documentation and organizational skills
