The Maintenance Technician - HVAC will be located onsite in Pueblo, CO and reports to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems and related mechanical equipment across Voyager's facilities - ensuring optimal climate control, air quality, and energy efficiency in a mission-critical manufacturing and operations environment.

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including rooftop units, split systems, chillers, boilers, air handlers, VAV systems, exhaust fans, and associated controls.

Perform preventive maintenance on all HVAC equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and facility schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related faults using appropriate test equipment including manifold gauges, multimeters, and combustion analyzers.

Read and interpret HVAC schematics, equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to execute work accurately and safely.

Use of personal protective equipment required.

Coordinate with facilities leadership, contractors, and project managers to support maintenance schedules, capital projects, and new equipment commissioning activities.

Document all work performed including maintenance logs, service records, and parts usage; maintain accurate records in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of hands-on experience in commercial or industrial HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of HVAC equipment including rooftop units, split systems, chilled water systems, and building automation controls.

Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards including ASHRAE, OSHA, and local mechanical codes.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project site as required.

State or journeyman HVAC license or equivalent trade certification.

Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS) and DDC controls; Experience in defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or government facility environments.

Travel, Physical and Government Mandated Requirements

Ability to lift, move, or carry items or equipment up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, on rooftops, and on ladders or scaffolding; work may be performed indoors and outdoors in varied weather and environmental conditions. Use of personal protective equipment is required.

Some positions or projects may require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.The good faith hourly range for this role is $34.00-$41.00 / hour at the time of this posting. This range reflects base compensation only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive.
