LA CONDESA is hiring a PART-TIME FOOD RUNNER

JOB OVERVIEW A Food Runner will assist the restaurant in fulfilling orders and delivering them to guest tables. A Food runner ensures that items are delivered to the correct tables with the proper presentation and ingredients while assisting the service team. Serve food or beverages to guests and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required

Verify that guests have proper dishware and utensils needed for the course upon delivery of food

Provide clear communication between front and back of house staff

Remove dishes and glassware from tables or counters and take them to the kitchen for cleaning

Stock area with dining supplies such as plates, utensils, glassware, and linens

Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns; inform immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessary

You have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

• 6 months of related experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
• You have state-issued food handling certification as required.
• You can speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace.
• You can read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
