Salary/Pay Rate: $30 to $38 per hour (Based on experience).

Job/Employment Type: Full Time.

Schedule: Monday - Friday.

Project Scope: Large-Scale Historic Restoration and Modification.

The Opportunity You will play a pivotal role in the revitalization of a massive, historic building complex, transforming aged structures into modern, functional spaces. You will have the autonomy to solve complex structural puzzles while preserving the architectural integrity of a significant local landmark.

Execute high-end finish carpentry and structural modifications within a massive complex of historic commercial buildings.

Analyze aging structural elements to determine the most effective methods for restoration and modern integration.

Construct and install custom wood frameworks, partitions, and cabinetry designed to match existing historic aesthetics.

Coordinate with the maintenance and masonry teams to ensure seamless transitions between old and new construction materials.

Maintain a safe and organized workspace within active restoration zones to prevent project delays and ensure crew safety.

Document material usage and project milestones to ensure all restoration phases remain within budget and on schedule.

Minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in commercial carpentry or historic restoration.

Proven expertise in operating a wide range of woodworking machinery and specialized hand tools.

Experience working in large-scale commercial or industrial environments with aging infrastructure.

Physical stamina to navigate large job sites and handle heavy materials throughout the workday.

Completion of a formal carpentry apprenticeship or specialized certification in historic preservation.

Demonstrated experience in mentoring junior carpenters or leading small crews on complex build-outs.

Advanced knowledge of traditional joinery techniques and modern adhesive technologies.
