The Audiologist is an excellent opportunity at MultiCare, working with people who have hearing, balance, and related ear problems. Using technology and computers, you will provide essential hearing services to make a daily impact on the lives of patients. You will perform diagnostic hearing tests including pure tone air and bone conduction testing, speech audiometry and impedance audiometry
You will interpret test results for patients and physicians
You will make recommendations regarding the need for medical follow-up, hearing aids, ear protection etc.
You will conduct hearing aid evaluations to determine the most appropriate amplification for an individual and then fit the aids to the patient providing detailed instruction on the operation and maintenance of the instruments
You will provide routine maintenance and hearing aid troubleshooting for aids purchased through this office
Certified Audiologist License - Washington Board of Hearing and Speech
Successful completion of a master’s or doctorate degree program that includes clinic practicum experience
ASHA - Audiology - American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
AuD at a board approved institution are considered to have met professional work experience requirement
