Description What You'll Be Doing
Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morein accordance with established protocols.
Assess the accuracy of results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Assist in specimen collection as required and prepare samples for analysis.
Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff and students, and ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards.
Uphold a clean and safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards.
Education
~ Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications
ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
