HR Operations & Process Improvement

Oversee daily HR operations with a focus on stabilizing, standardizing, and improving processes
Payroll & Benefits Leadership

Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
Oversee benefits administration, ensuring effective management of enrollments, changes, and employee support
Lead and mentor the Benefits Specialist to strengthen operations, accountability, and professional development
Own billing reconciliation, vendor management, and contract oversight
Lead and develop a team that includes Payroll Specialists, a Benefits Specialist, and an HR Coordinator
Provide coaching, direction, and performance management
Establish clear expectations and promote accountability and continuous improvement
Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, ACA, ERISA, ADA, FMLA, etc.)
Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and HR processes
Identify areas of risk and implement improvements and controls
HR Systems & Data

Leverage HR systems to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and reporting
5+ years of HR operations experience with deep expertise in payroll and benefits

• Strong hands-on experience with UKG is required and SAP experience is preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
• Experience navigating multiple systems, limited integrations, and heavy Excel usage
• Strong knowledge of compliance (FLSA, ACA, ERISA, COBRA, etc.)
• Experience with audits, reconciliations, and vendor management
• Track record of building process documentation and operational structure from scratch
• Experience supporting or preparing for HRIS implementations or transitions
