Position Overview Infant Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating atmosphere for infants aged 6 weeks to 36 months. The teacher will design and implement age-relevant activities that support physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development while maintaining strong communication with parents and team members.
Job Requirements Minimum 12 ECE units (including Infant/Toddler units required).
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
At least 6 months to 1 year of experience working with infants and/or toddlers.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Strong communication, patience, and a nurturing personality.
Knowledge of child development, health, and safety regulations.
Ability to pass background check and TB screening.
Responsibilities Provide responsive, individualized care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, napping, and comfort.
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities that align with child development best practices.
Build strong, positive relationships with children and families to support each child’s growth and development.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment in accordance with licensing regulations and school standards.
Observe and document children’s progress, communicate with families, and participate in parent-teacher conferences as needed.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to plan activities and maintain consistency across classrooms.
Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
