The City Income Tax Bureau within the Michigan Department of Treasury is seeking an Auditor in its Compliance and Collections unit. Responsibilities
Analyze data and identify discrepancies within tax records.
Investigate and resolve issues to help ensure fairness in the tax system.
Apply tax research skills to support compliance and investigative efforts.
Contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on customer service and continuous improvement.
Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree with at least 24 semester (36 term) credits in accounting.
Experience
No specific type or amount is required.
