Service Director Covington, Louisiana (On-site)

A leading industrial equipment and aftermarket services organisation is seeking a Service Director to lead a large-scale service and maintenance operation across the United States.

This is a senior leadership position with full responsibility for driving service performance, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, profitability, and future growth across a nationwide field service organisation.

The successful candidate will lead a team of regional service leaders and functional managers, creating a high-performance culture focused on safety, customer experience, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Develop and execute the long-term service strategy.
Drive growth across service revenue, maintenance agreements, and customer retention.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
Lead a geographically dispersed service organisation through regional leadership teams.
Establish service standards, KPIs, and performance management processes.
Drive continuous improvement, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Ensure safe, consistent, and high-quality service delivery nationwide.
Improve planning, scheduling, dispatch, and resource utilisation through technology and process optimisation.
Customer & Commercial Development
Build strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
Support the development of new service offerings and recurring revenue streams.
Act as an executive sponsor for major customer relationships and escalations.
Partner with commercial teams to drive aftermarket growth.
Align teams around clear objectives and performance expectations.

Significant experience leading industrial service, maintenance, aftermarket, or technical field service organisations.
A track record of managing multi-site or geographically dispersed teams through managers.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Experience delivering operational transformation and business growth.
Knowledge of field service operations, industrial maintenance, automation, material handling, manufacturing, or related technical environments.
Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
