Immigration Law Attorneys

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in immigration court (EOIR), including removal proceedings and bond hearings.
Represent clients during USCIS interviews and other immigration-related proceedings.
Develop effective case strategies and prepare applications, motions, briefs, appeals, and other legal documents.
Conduct client consultations and maintain clear, timely communication throughout each matter.
Manage a diverse caseload while ensuring deadlines and filing requirements are met.
Conduct legal research and provide thorough legal analysis.
Collaborate with legal assistants, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
Participate in community outreach, legal education workshops, and pro bono initiatives as needed.
Maintain a professional, compassionate, and client-focused approach to legal representation.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
Active license and good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
Minimum of 2 years of immigration law experience.
Experience with removal defense or family-based immigration is strongly preferred.
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.
Commitment to providing high-quality, client-focused legal representation.
Spanish fluency is strongly required.
Experience with law review, immigration clinics, or trial advocacy is a plus.
