Head of Project Management

REPORTS TO: Waste Water Program Manager FUNCTION: Lead smaller scope projects that include the design, coordination, control, and documentation of large and complex systems across all industries. Under general direction and utilizing established procedures, responsible for the successful project management of systems from order date through delivery. Perform liaison between the customer and/or reps and direct sales personnel and the company on matters regarding project engineering, design, scheduling, quality, and financial impact.

Plan, schedule, coordinate, direct and control assigned engineering projects; necessary system design, engineering, material and labor cost estimates for proposal and

commercial, and administrative guidelines. Measure on time shipping per order and reviewed annually for improvement.

Ensure preparation of drawings, bill-of-materials, project specific manuals, and other data as required, by self or others.

Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Associates degree from accredited college or university preferable in Engineering, Project Management, or similar. In lieu of Associates degree, a minimum of 3+ years’ experience relevant in project management.

Project Management Certificate a plus.

Preferred 2 years’ project management experience, preferably including system design knowledge.

Preferred experience involving project management of complex custom systems

General experience associated with process or power plants and waste water, is a plus.

Positive attitude toward Company, supervision, and fellow employees; Lead and guide peers and other Sentry personnel on assigned projects.

Positive attitude, tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers (internal/external).

Excellent communication skills, written and oral, telephone and customer service.

Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP and CRM programs.

Flexibility and willingness to respond to customers (internal/external) expediently; Occasional travel to trade shows, customer sites, and training events.
