Key Responsibilities

Conduct a range of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
Prioritize patient comfort and safety during exams, articulating each procedure with empathy and clarity
Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring providers to generate high-quality diagnostic images
Skillfully operate and maintain imaging machines, addressing any malfunctions swiftly
Document procedures meticulously and manage patient information within the electronic medical record system
Continuously learn about advancements in ultrasound technology and standard practices
Education and Credentials
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
Preferably, completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
Certifications You Will Need
Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or related credential
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
