Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU). The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center and a strong background in Surgical ICU nursing. The STICU is a fast-paced environment where teamwork and flexibility are essential.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill patients.
Perform advanced procedures including intubation, chest tube placement, and central line insertion.
Administer medications and manage CRRT/HD as required.
Monitor patient vitals and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Valid Nursing License
Active ACLS and BLS Certifications
Experience in Trauma ICU and Surgical ICU settings
Acute Care ICU skills are a must
