In this role, you'll work at the intersection of software, hardware, and real-world operations, supporting systems that directly impact battlefield effectiveness across reconnaissance, survivability, radar, and electronic warfare.

Lead and support system integration & test efforts for mission equipment on advanced vehicle platforms

Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues across software and hardware domains

Analyze software behavior, perform root cause analysis, and support debugging efforts

Execute lab and field testing, including test setup, data collection, and performance evaluation

Collaborate with software, electrical, mechanical, and cyber teams to resolve integration challenges

Contribute to design reviews, test events, and customer briefings

5+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, or test engineering

• Strong understanding of software-driven systems and system behavior
• Hands-on experience with: integration & system-level testing, debugging and troubleshooting complex systems, root cause analysis (embedded or real-time systems)
• Ability to read and understand code (C/C++ or similar)
• Comfortable working in lab and field environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to interface with technical teams and customers

Embedded systems, control systems, or electrical engineering exposure

MATLAB / Simulink experience

Flexible 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off)

Hybrid model (typically WFH Mondays & Fridays)

Mix of hands-on lab work + field testing

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

Ability to travel (~10%)

Understands how software impacts real-world system performance

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeton, MO.
