Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Admit Unit/Telemetry – Georgia Start Date: November 30, 2026
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, every other weekend required, floating within facility as needed based on census
Fast-paced 16-bed admit unit serving intermediate-level and medical-surgical patients with cardiac telemetry monitoring
Patient population includes adults to geriatrics with diagnoses such as dysrhythmias, CHF, acute stroke, Acute Coronary Syndrome, DKA, and renal conditions
Epic EMR and Pyxis medication management systems in use
Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
All patients on bedside monitoring with remote telemetry; RN self-monitors rhythms
Travel assignment with orientation provided; contract length determines non-billable orientation hours
Active RN license in Georgia or valid Compact license
Minimum 2 years of RN experience; previous travel experience required
Experience with 1:4 patient ratios and Epic charting system preferred
Competencies include cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central line care, BiPAP/CPAP management, IV insulin and heparin protocols, chest tubes, wound care, and tracheostomy management
Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); This position offers the chance to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on patient-centered care and efficient throughput.
