CLS - Lab Chemistry

Actively Interviewing for Lab Technologist - Night Shift to join medical laboratory in Norcross, GA!

Responsible to perform laboratory testing assigned to the department.

• Maintain excellent communication with the Department and other Laboratory Services personnel.
• May perform Pre-Analytical tasks (receipt, qualification, and preparation of samples for testing), CLIA waived tests, and moderate and/or high complexity testing on patient, donors, or biologic products using routine chemistries utilizing automated / semi-automated methods with internal support systems.
• Operate equipment utilizing established protocols and within quality control limits.
• Recognize equipment malfunctions and/or technical problems and take appropriate steps to resolve.
• Prepare and maintain reports/records and perform computer data entry.
• Maintain departmental supplies within established inventory levels.

Bachelors Degree within the Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry.

• Experience working within a lab preferred. Can be academic or industry.
• This position is an overnight position from Sunday - Tuesday with a rotational Wednesday or Thursday - Saturday with a rotational Wednesday from 7pm -7:30am. Training will be 4-5 weeks on the day shift (timing might vary).

This is a Contract position based out of Norcross, GA.
