RN- Nursery/NICU Night Shift

RN - NICU-Based Float Pool
We are seeking an experienced RN for our NICU-Based Float Pool, where you will provide essential care to neonates and pediatric patients. This role includes floating between the NICU, PICU, Pediatric units, and Newborn Nurseries as needed. Our team thrives on delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in the NICU, ensuring the well-being of critically ill newborns and children.
Administer medications and IV therapy, including management of arterial and central lines.
Monitor and interpret cardiac and respiratory parameters, including ventilator management.
Perform feeding interventions and manage feeding tubes as necessary.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain documentation in EPIC.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1.5 years of documented NICU Level III and PICU experience.
Active NJ or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and PALS.
Schedule
This is a night shift position, working 3 twelve-hour shifts from 19:00 to 08:00. Every other weekend commitment is required.
