Estimator - Construction Subcontractor

Position Overview FTK Construction Services, a rapidly growing company, is seeking a skilled Multifamily Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in estimating costs for Multifamily Residential & Affordable Housing construction projects. This role involves analyzing project plans, preparing detailed cost estimates, and collaborating with project managers and subcontractors to ensure accurate and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities Candidates must reside in the DFW area.

Review and analyze project plans and specifications.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily construction projects.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors.

Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors.

Ensure all estimates are accurate, competitive, and completed within deadlines.

Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to multitask, meet critical deadlines, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in multifamily projects.

Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Procore, Bluebeam).

Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
