Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking an Integrated Program Team (IPT) Lead F-35 Program Director for Palmdale, California. The position located in Palmdale will focus on assembly.

This position is based in Palmdale, CA and responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of the Integrated Product Team, which will include the following responsibilities:

This position will manage and integrate product assembly and delivery into an effective high-performance team in coordination with functional management and shared services ensuring all contractual requirements are met.

This position also ensures that the operations and facilities have the capabilities and resources required to meet current and future needs.

This position requires and is responsible for on-time delivery of high-quality products that meet all contractual requirements and business objectives to internal and external customers.

Responsible for the management and mitigation of program and team risk and opportunities.

Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.

Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.

The ability to lead high-rate production cross-functional teams in Advanced Composites, Assembly, and Fabrication.

Cost Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities

This position will be on a 9/80 work schedule, we offer phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. We are looking for candidates with experience in assembly line build processes, that are self-motivated, proactive, driven, and goal-oriented to support our products & customers.

Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of experience supporting U.S Government contracts and customers and/or aerospace manufacturing/project management in other industries OR Master's Degree and 10+ years' experience supporting U.Government contracts and customers and/or aerospace manufacturing / project management in other industries

• 3+ years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team, and manufacturing operations.
• Must have the ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required) as well as the ability to obtain and maintain Program Special Access

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
