Medical Receptionist - Healthcare

Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar.
Verify insurance information and process patient check-ins and check-outs.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
Collect co-pays and balance payments.
Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Assist with general administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.
Qualifications Certification Required: Medical Assistant certification.
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience as a receptionist or medical assistant in a healthcare environment.
Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Language Skills: Spanish or Punjabi speaking is a plus.
