Refurb Plant Engineer
40 hour week, plus overtime, 24 days holiday plus banks, pension and more
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refurb Plant Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in plant or vehicle maintenance to work in a workshop-based role. If you have a passion for diagnosing faults, maintaining machinery, and rebuilding equipment, we encourage you to apply.
Performing maintenance on a variety of machines, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably.
Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Collaborating with the team to ensure workshop operations run smoothly and efficiently.
A recognized qualification in plant or vehicle maintenance.
Proven experience in machine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and equipment refurbishment.
Strong mechanical and technical skills with attention to detail.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Working in a workshop-based environment from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Performing hands‑on maintenance, stripping, and rebuilding of machinery.
Diagnosing and repairing faults to ensure equipment is operational.
Optional weekend work for those seeking additional hours and overtime opportunities.
Competitive hourly rate of £20.25 per hour.
A standard 40-hour workweek with overtime opportunities.
24 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
