MMT is seeking an experienced, results-driven Operations Manager to lead our Angleton, Texas facility. This is a key leadership opportunity for someone who understands manufacturing, takes ownership of business performance, and knows how to build and develop strong teams.

As the senior leader on site, you will report directly to the Division President and have full responsibility for the facility's financial and operational performance, including profit and loss (P&L), budgeting, manufacturing operations, engineering, quality, and facilities.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable reviewing financial performance, solving challenges on the production floor, developing employees, and working with customers to grow the business.

Lead the Business and Drive Profitability

Take full ownership of site P&L, including revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and operating expenses.

Develop and manage annual operating budgets, capital investments, and financial forecasts.

Analyze financial performance, identify opportunities to improve profitability, and implement corrective actions.

Partner with Sales and Business Development to support customer relationships, expand capabilities, and drive revenue growth.

Present financial results, forecasts, and business improvement plans to executive leadership.

Lead and develop the site's Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Facilities teams.

Establish clear expectations, performance goals, and accountability across departments.

Coach and mentor managers and supervisors, building a strong leadership team and developing future leaders.

Foster a workplace culture built on safety, teamwork, respect, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Own Manufacturing Operations

Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost objectives are achieved.

Maintain compliance with OSHA requirements and applicable quality standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations.

Lead operational problem-solving and ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.

Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor, working directly with employees and supervisors to understand challenges and improve performance.

Drive Continuous Improvement and Growth

Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, scrap, rework, and downtime.

Evaluate new equipment, technologies, and processes that strengthen operational capabilities.

Develop and execute site-level business plans aligned with MMT's growth objectives.

Collaborate with other MMT locations and support business integration activities as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple functions, such as Operations, Engineering, and Quality.

Demonstrated experience managing a manufacturing site's P&L, annual budgets, and financial forecasts.

Track record of improving operational performance, including safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and profitability.

Working knowledge of manufacturing quality management systems and applicable regulatory requirements.

Experience using ERP/MRP systems and financial and operational performance data to make business decisions.

Experience in precision machining, automation, custom manufacturing, or medical device manufacturing.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Experience supporting acquisitions, site integrations, or organizational change.

You understand the financial side of manufacturing and take responsibility for delivering results.

Leads from the floor: You stay connected to daily operations and understand the challenges your employees face.

You use data, sound judgment, and practical solutions to improve performance.

You can engage with production employees, customers, and executive leadership.

This position is based onsite at our Angleton, Texas manufacturing facility and requires regular interaction with production teams. Occasional travel to other MMT locations, customers, or suppliers may be required. The role involves working in both office and manufacturing environments, with appropriate personal protective equipment required on the production floor.
