Maintenance Mechanic
Freedom, a national Direct Mail Company based in Aurora, IL, is one of the largest, independently owned, privately held, direct mail marketing providers in the United States. Because we are a leader in the direct mail space, investing in technology and resources to facilitate innovative ideas. We're looking to add an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to our team on 3rd shift.
Successful Maintenance Mechanics work well in a fast paced, production environment, and keep the equipment running smoothly through a combination of preventive maintenance and just in time repairs.
Perform regular preventative maintenance on various pieces of equipment including folders, inserters, and tabbers
Perform electro-mechanical related maintenance as required or demonstrate basic mechanical skills
Read and interpret job instructions and assist with machine set-ups
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to work without close supervision
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk constantly for duration of shift
• Must have a High School Diploma/GED
• Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred
• 2-3 years of prior mechanical experience required
