Medication Aide - Part Time - 2nd Shift
Hultquist Place Assisted Living | Jamestown, NY Part-Time | 2nd Shift | Non-Exempt $17.00 – $18.50/hour (based on experience)
Hultquist Place Assisted Living is seeking two Part-Time Medication Aides for 2nd Shift to support our residents and care team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a new and growing role that focuses on resident-centered care, safety, and independence.

The Medication Aide assists residents in our Assisted Living Program (ALP) with the self-administration of medications in accordance with New York State regulations and individualized service plans.
This role supports resident safety, dignity, and independence while working under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
Assist residents with self-administration of medications per service plans
Follow MAR/eMAR documentation and medication assistance procedures
Document assistance accurately and timely
Promote resident independence, dignity, and privacy
Collaborate with nurses, aides, and the care team
Participate in required training and quality initiatives
No clinical assessments or nursing judgment
All work performed under licensed nursing supervision
High school diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of Hultquist Place's in-house medication assistance training program, including demonstrated competency, is required prior to independent assignment and will be provided upon hire
1-3 years of experience with medication assistance

• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare
• Experience working with older adults

Part-Time, 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
Part-time team members commit to working a minimum of four shifts each bi-weekly pay period , consisting of:
Every other weekend , and
Two additional weekday shifts

Schedule includes a holiday rotation to support resident care
Additional shifts may be available for team members interested in increasing their hours
17.00 – $18.50/hour (based on experience) + $1.50/hour 2nd shift differential

• This is a part-time position and is not benefit-eligible. PTO is not provided for part-time employees unless you consistently work 40 or more hours every pay period.
