Sales Engineer at CloudBees , you’ll be a trusted technical advisor to prospects and customers across the North America region. You will partner closely with Account Executives to demonstrate the value of CloudBees’ DevOps platform, guide customers through technical evaluations, and help translate complex DevOps challenges into scalable solutions.
This role blends deep technical expertise with strong communication skills and a passion for helping teams deliver better software.
Key Responsibilities Partner with Sales to drive the technical evaluation and pre-sales process
Understand customer DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure
Act as a technical liaison between customers, Sales, Product, and Engineering
Stay current on DevOps trends, competitive landscape, and CloudBees product updates
Help influence product roadmap by sharing customer feedback and insights
7+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role
Strong understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices
Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or similar
Background as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE
Experience selling or supporting SaaS or platform products
Compensation shown is reflective of on target earnings (OTE).
