Travel Nurse Emergency Room RN Night Shift Job

Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) – Atlanta, GA, United States. This travel assignment starts on 08/03/2026 and runs for 8 weeks. Earn a weekly pay of $1,612–$1,724 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is Nights on a 2x3 schedule. Work setting is a hospital-based ER, focusing on high-acuity adult and pediatric emergencies in a busy, level-appropriate environment.

• Contract duration: Shift: Nights, 2x3 schedule
• Setting: hospital ER (emergency department)

perform initial assessments and assign priority of care

• Monitor vital signs, interpret clinical data, and respond to deterioration
• Administer medications, initiate IV access, and manage basic emergency interventions
• Document care in the electronic medical record with accuracy and timeliness
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and nursing colleagues to coordinate patient care
• Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and referrals when appropriate
• Maintain strict infection control, privacy standards, and patient safety throughout shift

Current, active RN license in Georgia or eligibility for licensure transfer

• Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience
• Experience in a high-volume ER setting; level 1 trauma exposure preferred
• Ability to work nights in a fast-paced emergency department; Willingness to participate in credentialing processes and onboarding
