Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients, including pre-op assessment, intraoperative monitoring, and immediate post-op care as applicable
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers to deliver individualized, high-quality, safe patient care
- Maintain sterile technique, instrument and count accuracy, and adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Monitor patient status throughout the perioperative period, document observations accurately, and communicate changes to the team
- Assist with OR readiness: case preparation, equipment setup, positioning, and instrument handling
- Uphold professional practice standards and ethics as outlined by state regulations and the nursing code of ethics; advocate for patients and families

Requirements
- Active Georgia RN license
- Perioperative (OR) nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
- Education: nursing degree from an accredited program (e.g., diploma, ADN, or BSN)
- Availability to work a 40-hour weekly day shift schedule
