Head of Supply Chain and Procurement

Overseeing end-to-end purchasing activities, the full-time Procurement Manager will ensure timely procurement execution and supplier oversight for specialized suppliers, equipment, and materials while supporting production schedules and U.S. Department of Energy grant requirements in a home-based environment.
Key responsibilities
Manage procurement activities, ensuring material availability and adherence to cost, quality, and performance targets
Oversee supplier communications, purchase orders, and requisitions while evaluating supplier performance and negotiating terms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review technical specifications and ensure accuracy in purchasing requirements
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or materials management
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems or other procurement software
Experience managing multiple suppliers and competing procurement priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of supplier evaluation, negotiation, and performance management
