Key Qualifications:

Valid 310 certification and active state social work license

Experience working within school or youth-focused environments

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse student populations

Exceptional ability to assess needs, develop plans, and provide crisis intervention

Comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies

Commitment to professional ethics, continuous learning, and advocacy

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students in need

Assess student concerns, family situations, and school dynamics that affect learning

Consult with teachers, counselors, administrators, and outside service providers

Develop and implement interventions, behavior plans, and support strategies

Provide crisis response, conflict mediation, and referrals to community resources

Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal standards

Educate staff and families about mental health issues and available supports
