Assist in the structural design, analysis, and modeling of building systems using industry-standard software and tools

• Support the development of structural systems including foundations, steel, concrete, masonry, and wood framing
• Participate in field inspections, job site visits, and inspection reports on a periodic basis as needed
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and internal departments to support structural feasibility, constructability, and compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements
• Support quality control reviews of structural documents and calculations• Maintain effective communication with project teams to meet project schedules and deliverables• Assist with proposal development, scope definition, and technical support as needed

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• Engineering in Training (EIT) certification preferred
• 3-6 years of experience in structural engineering design for building projects
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., Working knowledge of structural design principles, materials, and construction methods
• Familiarity with applicable building codes and standards
• If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to: hard hats, steel toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise.
