TEMP/TRAVEL - Registered Nurse (RN) PCU (NIGHT)

Registered Nurse – PCU | Travel assignment in a hospital setting, San Antonio, Texas, United States. Weekly pay: $1,841–$1,938 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (1900–0730). This assignment supports IMCU/PCU/Stepdown patients with facility onboarding details arranged by HR.

• Onboarding: traveler badge (Access and Picture) provided by facility HR

Provide direct clinical care to assigned patients on IMCU/PCU/Stepdown per shift, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care.

• Supervise staff to whom care is delegated and contribute to unit-level care delivery and resource management.
• Monitor patient status, implement care plans, document outcomes, and communicate changes to the charge nurse or unit leadership.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, safe nursing care and to support ongoing competency and safety initiatives.
• Maintain clinical proficiency and compliance with infection control and facility policies; participate in performance improvement activities as needed.

Experience in IMCU/PCU/Stepdown or similar step-down settings is preferred.

• Ability to work the night shift schedule (1900–0730) on a 3x12-hour basis.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient-care documentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and coordinate care for patients and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Willingness to complete onboarding procedures, including traveler badge issuance as required by the facility HR department.
