Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), with every other weekend required (Friday/Saturday).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist with a strong background in Pediatric and Adult critical care to provide exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for assessments, performing therapeutic procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care of patients.

Responsibilities

Blood gas analysis and management of ventilators, BiPAP, and high flow nasal cannulae.

Code response and in-house transport of patients.

Administer medications and provide chest physical therapy as needed.

Float between PICU, ED, and Adult critical care based on skill set and hospital needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum 1.5 years of experience in Respiratory Care; PICU/NICU experience highly preferred.

Active NJ License or Compact License required at the time of submission.

Certifications: BLS and NBRC required; Advanced certifications (ACLS/PALS/NRP) preferred.
