Every room you prepare contributes directly to the exceptional service and world-class experience our guests expect.What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like: The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort. Every day brings the opportunity to create a welcoming environment where guests feel cared for from the moment they enter their room. Working as part of a collaborative Housekeeping team, you will clean and prepare guest rooms, replenish amenities, inspect rooms for quality, and report maintenance concerns to ensure every room is guest-ready. You will also assist with deep cleaning projects and support hotel operations while delivering service that reflects The Westgate Hotel's tradition of excellence. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining luxury hospitality standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.What We're Looking For:Clean and service assigned guest rooms in accordance with hotel housekeeping standards and productivity expectations.Make beds and refresh linens according to established procedures and training standards.Clean and sanitize guest bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, mirrors, and fixtures.Dust, vacuum, and clean furniture, windows, balconies, and all guest room surfaces.Replace towels, linens, guest amenities, and supplies to ensure rooms are fully stocked.Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organization throughout every guest room.Report maintenance concerns, damages, or unusual conditions to supervisors or dispatch promptly.Report and turn in all Lost & Found items in accordance with hotel procedures.Keep housekeeping carts, service areas, and storage closets clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift.Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments as business needs require.Attend daily housekeeping line-up meetings and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and acknowledge every guest with courtesy and professionalism.Follow all housekeeping safety, sanitation, and service standards.Perform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations.What You Bring to the Team:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous hotel housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.Ability to clean a minimum of 13 guest rooms during an eight-hour shift while maintaining quality standards.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.Ability to work efficiently while maintaining luxury hospitality standards.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Friendly, professional demeanor with a guest-first mindset.Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Professional appearance and conduct consistent with luxury hospitality standards.Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs.Benefits & Perks:Medical, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Benefits401(k) Retirement PlanWellness and Employee Assistance ProgramPerkSpot Employee Discount ProgramHotel Stay DiscountsEmployee MealsAquaVie Fitness & Spa Membership DiscountTraining and Career Growth OpportunitiesDiscounts at Grand America Hotels & Resorts propertiesConvenient access to trolley station and downtown bus routesOur Culture: We believe in "People First and Guests Always."
