Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Rehabilitation Nursing, Full Time, Nights

Overview
Olympia Convalescent Hospital is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

Pay Scale: $33-$39 per hour with a $1500 sign-on bonus

Schedule: Full Time on a rotating 4-2 schedule.

Korean Speaking Preferred

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will consistently perform according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

Performs focused interviews to identify specific patient needs.

Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Provides general nursing care to patients.

Provides direct nursing care for identified patients.

Provides skilled nursing care as outlined in the nursing care plan.

Provides basic patient care or treatments as appropriate.

Conduces patient care conferences for assigned patients.

Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Plans and implements nursing care; implements direct patient care and prescribed treatments and medications.

Provides nursing care to patients requiring inpatient rehabilitation and to participants and residents as applicable.

Coordinates patient care delivered by the multidisciplinary care team.

Develops patient care plans with input from the patient/family.

Anticipates patient care needs and coordinates with physicians as needed.

Performs duties related to direct patient care and nursing responsibilities as assigned.

Evaluates nursing care delivered to residents.

Qualifications

Current LVN license in the state of practice.

Current BLS card.

One year of LVN experience preferred.
