Day Shift / Weekend Barista

Position Summary We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Barista to prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and other cafe beverages to standard, deliver excellent guest service, and keep the cafe station clean, stocked, and running efficiently. Key Responsibilities Prepare coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages (lattes, cappuccinos, matcha, refreshers, etc.) Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other cafe equipment safely and correctly
Accurately enter orders and process payments through the POS system

Prepare and present pastries and grab-and-go food items to standard
Restock cups, lids, syrups, milk, coffee beans, and other cafe supplies throughout the shift
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary cafe station, including regular cleaning of espresso equipment
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Communicate guest allergies or special requests clearly and adjust drinks/food accordingly
Assist with opening/closing cafe duties, including stocking and cash-out procedures
Support promotions such as new seasonal drinks, punch cards, and loyalty programs
Qualifications No prior experience required; barista or customer service experience a plus
Genuine interest in coffee and beverage quality
Ability to work efficiently and stay organized during fast-paced morning rushes
Strong communication and guest service skills
Basic math skills for handling cash and orders
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs (milk cases, coffee bags, ice)
Comfortable working near hot equipment, steam, and a fast-paced counter environment
Frequent reaching, bending, and repetitive motion (steaming milk, pulling shots, restocking)
