We are partnering with a growing international organization looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to support procurement, inventory planning, supplier coordination, and overall supply chain operations.
This hands-on role will focus on product availability, purchasing, inventory management, and supplier coordination while supporting local sourcing and supply chain improvement initiatives. Manage procurement activities for assigned product categories and suppliers, including creating and maintaining purchase orders and replenishment plans.
Monitor supplier confirmations, lead times, production schedules, and delivery timelines to ensure product availability.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support customer demand while minimizing excess and slow-moving inventory.
Coordinate inbound shipments and replenishment activities from domestic and international suppliers.
Track international shipments and work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers to support timely delivery.
Analyze inventory levels, demand trends, lead times, and supply chain data to support replenishment and stocking decisions.
Identify slow-moving, excess, and at-risk inventory and recommend actions to improve inventory performance.
Support forecasting and inventory planning activities and recommend stocking strategies for new and existing product lines.
Identify, evaluate, and support the qualification and onboarding of local and regional suppliers.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships while monitoring performance related to delivery, quality, responsiveness, and lead-time adherence.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support supplier quality, new product introductions, sourcing initiatives, process improvements, and overall supply chain objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or operations.
Experience managing suppliers, purchase orders, inventory levels, lead times, and delivery schedules.
Experience with inventory planning, replenishment, and supply chain data analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
